Spotlite FAQ

How should I report income earned through Spotlite?

CX TEAM2025-06-11

Spotlite is a platform that facilitates secure contracts between models and brands — it does not serve as a direct employer. This means that any income you earn through Spotlite must be self-reported for tax purposes.

For freelance models, this income is not included in year-end tax adjustments. You’ll need to report it during the individual income tax filing period, either through a licensed tax agent or directly via the Hometax website. If you’re registered under an agency, please confirm with your management whether they will handle the reporting.

For more accurate guidance on tax obligations, we recommend consulting with a tax professional or contacting your local tax office.
