What is “Option”?

CX TEAM2025-06-11

Option” is a way to temporarily reserve a model’s availability for a specific date before a shoot is officially confirmed. It means: “This shoot might happen on this date. Please keep the time available for now.”

For clients, placing an option is useful when you're still finalizing project details but want to secure the model’s schedule in advance. However, since it blocks the model from accepting other jobs for that time, it’s important to place options responsibly and provide timely updates.

For models, if another client requests the same date, they will first check with the client who placed the option before confirming or declining their new offer. The more options a model has, the less flexibility they retain in their schedule—so clear communication is essential.

While options are helpful for early coordination, please only use them when the confirmation is a serious possibility. Overusing options can negatively affect trust and make scheduling harder for everyone involved.

There’s no fee for canceling an option. But if your plans change, please click the [Cancel Option] button to notify the model that the date has been released. Prompt, transparent communication builds long-term rapport.
