What is “Option”?

“Option” is a way to temporarily reserve a model’s availability for a specific date before a shoot is officially confirmed. It means: “This shoot might happen on this date. Please keep the time available for now.” For clients, placing an option is useful when you're still finalizing project details but want to secure the model’s schedule in advance. However, since it blocks the model from accepting other jobs for that time, it’s important to place options responsibly and provide timely updates.

How long does it take for a model to respond?

Response time can vary by model, but most respond in less than 24 hours on average. When you send a booking request, the model receives an KakaoTalk notification, which helps ensure that the request is seen promptly. Most models reply as soon as they see the alert, or soon after after checking their availability. However, if they are occupied with a different shoot or in transit, replies may take longer. Can I request videos or additional photos from a model?

Yes, you can. Once you’ve connected with a model on Spotlite, you're welcome to request additional materials such as short videos or current snapshots (e.g., hairstyle or body updates), depending on your project needs. Some models may have already uploaded lifestyle photos or recent snapshots on their portfolio, so we recommend checking there first. If such materials are not available, you can send a direct request via the Chat feature after the model has responded to your booking request. For e

Can the model handle their own hair, makeup, and styling?

If your project requires a basic hair & makeup look or casual clothes, you may ask the model whether self-styling would be possible by sending a clear reference or description. For example: “Natural hair & makeup” or “Plain white shirt with denim.” The model will then let you know if they can prepare it themselves. Please note, however, that this is not a guaranteed obligation. If the requested style or preparation go beyond what the model personally owns or can provide, they may decline the req

Do the models speak Korean? Can a translator accompany them?

Language proficiency varies by model, and some overseas models may not be fluent in Korean. You can check each model’s preferred language(s) at the top of the chat window once a booking request is in progress. If you anticipate communication challenges, you may request a translator to assist with the shoot. However, translator availability depends on the model and is not guaranteed. Can I get a model’s contact details or Instagram?

Spotlite allows requests to view a model’s Instagram or external portfolio only when needed for reviewing additional work samples. However, we advise against exchanging personal contact details such as phone numbers or email addresses, and we strongly encourage all communication to stay within the platform. In some cases, follow-up conversations may take place outside of Spotlite, but we recommend using the on-site Chat feature whenever possible—especially for important steps like contract confi

If you’d like to extend the usage period or change the usage scope of any previously-contracted content, please contact our Customer Experience Team.
