Profile Management FAQ

Are snapshots required? What kind of photos should I upload?

Yes — snapshots are essential. They help clients understand your current look and are one of the most important elements of a trustworthy profile. We require at least 4 snapshots taken from various angles: front, side, three-quarter, and back. When taking your snapshots, keep your makeup minimal, and shoot in natural light or a well-lit space. Make sure your hair is neat and your face is clearly visible. Include both upper body and full body shots to show your proportions. If you have any specia

What’s the difference between “Portfolio” and “Career”?

“Portfolio” and “Career” serve different purposes on your profile. Your “Portfolio” is the first visual section clients see, so it should showcase your strongest work and most representative images. The top four images are automatically used to generate your comp card, which plays a key role in first impressions. ”Career,” on the other hand, is like your modeling résumé — a place to briefly list when, where, and what kind of jobs you’ve completed. Both sections are essential for building trust a

How often should I update my profile?

Your profile shouldn’t just be a one-time setup — it should be maintained regularly. Clients tend to prefer profiles with up-to-date information and visuals, and this directly impacts your chances of getting booked. If you’ve completed a recent shoot you’re proud of, upload the images right away. Adjust your visuals based on the season (e.g., SS/FW) or theme, if applicable. Snapshots should be updated whenever your appearance changes, and your Career section should be refreshed after every job.

What does “hourly rate” mean, and how should I set or manage it?

Spotlite uses an hourly rate system for model fees. For example, if your hourly rate is KRW 150,000 and the shoot is 6 hours long, the total fee would be KRW 900,000. We recommend entering your rate in the local currency of your working region (e.g., KRW or THB). In markets like Thailand, clients often work with half-day or full-day pricing. You can use this structure to calculate your hourly rate — simply divide your half-day rate by 4, or your full-day rate by 8. The rate you set on your profi

How are “Featured Models” on the homepage selected?

“Featured Models” shown at the top of the homepage are hand-picked by our team based on internal criteria and are updated regularly. The selection criteria may change depending on operational needs, and we’re unable to share specific details. Being featured is not based on the number of completed shoots, nor is it a paid advertising feature. While the process is currently manual, we plan to introduce an automated system in the near future that considers factors like recent activity, profile qual

How do I delete my account? Is there anything I should be aware of?

To delete your account, go to [Menu] in the upper right corner of the main page→ [User Account], and scroll down to find the [Resign Spotlite] button. Please note that once you delete your account, you’ll need to reapply from the beginning if you want to return, and approval is not guaranteed. If you’ve recently signed with an agency or are taking a temporary break, we recommend switching to a “Dormant Account” through our Customer Experience Team instead. In dormant status, your profile will be
